Another benefit of CGC is it allows you to prepare your dog for therapy dog training. In fact, many therapy dog program may require the CGC award before their therapy-specific training begins. This program will prepare your dog to take the CGC test and become certified CGC at the end of the course you have the option of take the CGC test (additional fee for processing with AKC)
